Peoples Democratic Party, Akwa Ibom State has amended Timetable for the upcoming Local Government primaries.

This was contained in a Press Release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Ini Ememobong.

“ Take Notice that the State Executive Committee led by Obong Paul Ekpo has amended the timetable for Local Government primaries for the selection of candidates for councillors and chairmen in the forth coming local government elections.”

The amendments is as follows:

Screening 12-14 September, 2017

Appeal(screening) 15th September, 2017

Nomination(councillors) 16th September, 2017
Nomination (Chairman) 18th September, 2017

The statement urged all aspirants and party officials to note and act accordingly.
